Virtual Appointments and In-Clinic Appointments Now Being Offered
Up until now, we have been screening patients in our front office for any signs of COVID, and to confirm that patients do not have a fever. Please note that because of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, we are taking extra precautions to keep all of our patients and staff safe, while still providing a quality continuation of services. If you are planning a visit to the office for your appointment, we kindly ask that you do the following:
• Please call us or text us from your vehicle when you arrive at 972-214-5641.
• Please REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE until your nurse comes out to your vehicle. She will take your temperature and screen you for any signs of illness. Once you are cleared, she will escort you into the clinic for your appointment.
• Because COVID-19 symptoms can vary, we will unfortunately not be able to allow you into the clinic for your appointment if you are exhibiting allergy or cold symptoms. We ask that if you DO have any symptoms of illness, that you call us prior to your appointment, and we will proceed with a telemedicine appointment versus an in-clinic appointment. This way, you can still keep your appointment. You will be able to see Dr. Wood on your telemedicine phone call, just as if she was standing in front of you. She will give you the same undivided attention on your telemedicine appointment as she would if you were in the office.
• If you have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, please do NOT come to our office. Just give us a call, and we can conduct your appointment via telemedicine.
